Eline Korbi is a Norwegian operatic soprano renowned for her dynamic performances across opera, concert repertoire, and events. For the past two seasons, Korbi has been part of The Norwegian National Opera’s prestigious Young Artist program, 22/23 and 23/24. Here she has interpreted roles such as Agnes in David Bruce’s «Nothingness», Clorinda in Rossini’s « La Cenerentola», Berta in «Il Barbiere di Siviglia» and Stasi in «Die Czardasfürstin».
A graduate of the Opera Academy in Oslo, she completed her master's degree in 2022 under the mentorship of esteemed voice teacher Yngve Søberg. During her studies, Korbi debuted at the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet (DNO&B) as Minerva in Offenbach's "Orphée aux enfers" in December 2021. She also portrayed the title role in Rossini's "Elisabetta Regina d'Inghilterra" in February 2021.
Now a freelancer, Eline Korbi is making waves in a variety of exciting projects across opera, concert repertoire, and live events. Known for her ability to connect with audiences, she not only performs in well-established venues but also curates her own projects that challenge the conventions of opera. With a unique vision to make opera more accessible and relatable to wider audiences, Korbi is redefining the way opera is experienced, introducing it in a fresh and exciting way that both opera enthusiasts and newcomers can appreciate.
